Homeschooling with a Newborn: Part 3
Time goes by so fast with babies so enjoy the time you have with them while they're little. Slow days are key for schooling with a newborn. Today I'm talking about something a little different though. Taking care of yourself during this busy season. No, I'm not telling you to go out and get your hair and nails done. I'm not telling you to go shop for new clothes. I'm not even telling you to go take the shower you've been dreaming on for the last two days. I'm saying look to the one who refreshes your soul.
Rooted in the One Who Holds You
It’s easy to become overwhelmed when the baby is crying and hungry, the toddler runs around the room and knocks 18 things of the shelf, your preschooler is needing help with their letters, and your oldest is asking you for guidance on a project they’re currently working on. The Lord is holding you. Stay rooted in Him by reading the Word and take the time to pray. I have found myself in need of writing prayer requests and praises down because I have so many things going on at once. Taking it to the Lord will help you through each, one step at a time.
