- Day one starts with filling in dotted lines of various words in the verse. On day two, your child will fill in the whole verse with the dotted lines. The third activity of the week will end with the child filling in the whole verse by themselves on plain dotted lines.
This is meant to be a full year of handwriting curriculum for your child’s homeschool year. Included in this study is twenty-four weeks of scripture and hymn meditation and handwriting practice. Each week your child will be learning a verse and will have three days of writing practice that builds up to writing the scripture verse by themselves. It starts and ends with a stanza from the beautiful All Creatures of Our God and King hymn, originally written in 1225.
My heart for this curriculum is that you will share in the beauty of scripture and hymn memorization with your child. This Charlotte Mason style curriculum is a lovely study to add to your nature studies or morning time together. Each verse has been thoughtfully chosen and speaks about the wonders of God’s creation and His words of Truth.
