Let me start off by saying homeschooling is such a blessing and my husband and I have so many reasons why we do so. First and foremost, we believe this is the direction God has led us in raising our children. “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it” Proverbs 22:6. Of course, you can do this without homeschooling.  My husband and I both attended public school, however for our family, homeschooling is a way we can celebrate Gospel-Centered learning for our children. Homeschooling is not something I ever thought I'd be doing. Being a stay at home mom was not even on my radar when I was pregnant with our first son.  I took maternity leave with every intention of returning. After I held our precious son in my arms for the first time, I couldn't leave him and return to a 9-5 job.

My husband and I frequently talk about how wonderful it is to have contentment. Contentment with what the Lord has blessed both of us with thus far in our lives. I have joy not only in teaching our three children but raising them up in the ways of the Lord.

Homeschooling allows us to do just this and reinforce it to our children in everything we speak about and learn throughout our homeschool years. Whether you homeschool or not, I think we can all agree that every parent wants the best for their children’s education and upbringing. My inspiration for creating educational materials and sharing ideas with you is successes I've with my children that makes me want to continue teaching them and help you along your journey as well. This allows you as a parent to see how easy it can be to educate or supplement your child’s education right in the comfort of your own home.

Our days are beautifully messy, our house is loud chaos, and there’s nothing else I’d rather do. I hope you enjoy your visit and learn many ways to teach your very own precious blessings.
