Introducing The Garden Chronicles!
There is so much beauty in the natural world around us that our Creator made. It's not a question in my mind as to why children thrive in nature.
Our homeschool is full of getting out into nature and allowing the Maker to teach our children with the beauty of His creation. That is the very inspiration for these studies!
There are countless of nature studies available today that we can add to our homeschool curriculum. You can find nature journaling, poems, information about any plant, flower, or tree, learning activities, and so much more. One thing we were lacking in our homeschool though was a direct tie into the Bible.
The inspiration behind creating this series is to find every mention of plants, trees, fruit, etc. in the Bible and turn it into a full study for our children. In these books you'll find coloring pages, scripture, hymns, recipes, and in depth look at the plants of the Bible, and more.
In addition to the studies I've created below, a wonderful In the Garden is a wonderful book that looks directly into plants of the Bible and has a story to go along with each plant.

The Garden Chronicles: Book One is an in depth study into the juniper tree. "And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat." 1 Kings 19:5
The Garden Chronicles: Book Two is a look at Spring flowers, with a main focus on the lily. "I am a rose of Sharon, a lily of the valleys" Song of Solomon 2:1
